Gun Control Satire

Here is the gun control satire that needs to be reviewed for homework after our intro to Satire lesson.  It is broken up into two parts- please review both and respond to the prompts on the homework calendar.  Be sure to include specifics in your written response as it will be collected.

Trial DAY 1- GREAT JOB

I think I have an idea who I would choose as the winning side but either way it was a successful trial and I applaud both sides for being impeccable prepared.  Thanks to the magistrates for keeping things moving in an orderly fashion!

Can't wait to see what periods 2 and 4 come up with tomorrow~!

Here we go... FINAL POETRY ESSAY INFO

Just a reminder-  all poetry essays must be submitted to turnitin.com by class on Monday, this Monday, October 14.

You can access the rubric with specific requirements on this website, where you are right now, under the handout section.  But as a quick review papers must be

3-5 pages
with at least 2 outside sources
with a works cited

I know we have reviewed this a couple of times but just in case

Period one-- because we only see each other for 45 minutes before THURSDAY, I was hoping you could respond to the following prompt over the weekend (just a couple of notes).  "Tell me about something that is impossible.  Scientifically, what could NEVER POSSIBLY EVER be?"

Let me know if you have any questions and enjoy the weekend-

Part One! Yuck

As you are reading the text I have found this adaptation of part one to be a solid reference for Gregor's size, and the layout of the apartment

Let me know if you have any questions and keep up the good work

Just a reminder about deadlines

Just wanted to remind everyone that the deadline for material is when your class starts.  So in the case of the Poetry Essay, those papers should be either submitted via hard copy or in turnitin.com by the time you come into class.

Please let me know if you have any questions
